This article explains how to choose a plan, start a trial, subscribe, and manage your billing in ShopMonitor.
Choosing a plan & subscribing
Open the Plans page from the navigation runs counter or from Settings → Billing.
- Plan cards — Starter, Pro, and Agency with a monthly/yearly billing toggle.
- Current prices — always shown on the Plans page (not listed here).
- Start a trial or subscribe — use the button on a plan card; checkout runs through Stripe Checkout.
- Plan comparison matrix — full feature comparison below the cards.
- Current plan — highlighted when you have an active subscription.
- Manage subscription — open the Stripe Customer Portal from the Plans page to update payment method, change plan, or cancel.
- Cancel subscription — available in the Stripe Customer Portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period when cancel-at-period-end is set.
- Trial ended dialog — appears when your trial expires and you try a restricted action.
- Expired banner — shown when the trial has ended and you have no active subscription.
Managing billing
The Billing tab in Settings shows your subscription at a glance:
- Subscription status — active, trialing, canceled, or past due.
- Current period end — when the current billing period ends (or when access ends after cancellation).
- Cancel at period end — whether your subscription is set to end at the current period end.
- Stripe Customer Portal — open it to manage payment details, invoices, and subscription changes.
- Plans page link — jump to compare plans or subscribe.

Pro includes everything listed for Starter at higher limits; Agency includes everything in Pro plus dedicated account management and white-label reporting.
The runs counter in the navigation shows used / monthly limit for your plan. Click it to open the Plans page.
Trial & account states
- During trial — full access to all features for your trial period.
- Trial expired, no subscription — account becomes read-only. You can browse past data (runs, websites, settings) but cannot start new or scheduled runs until you subscribe.
- Active subscription — full access within your plan limits.
- Canceled at period end — full access until the current period ends, then the account becomes read-only unless you resubscribe.
